Kamala Aaron is the creator and host of The Caribbean Immigrant, a media platform exploring the people, culture and Caribbean connections shaping the world.
A former journalist and talk show host, Kamala also made history as Dominica’s first female press secretary. Her career has put her in the room with newsmakers, decision-makers and fascinating people, sharpening an interviewing style known for warmth, curiosity and a willingness to ask the questions others sometimes avoid.
Kamala has interviewed six sitting Caribbean prime ministers, one former prime minister, and two presidents from across the region, bringing curiosity, candor, and consequential questions to every conversation.
She created The Caribbean Immigrant for surprising stories, candid conversations and Caribbean connections you didn’t see coming.
For everyone with Caribbean roots, wherever you live. And anyone who loves a good story. You don’t have to be an immigrant, or Caribbean, to join the conversation.
The Caribbean is everywhere. We tell its stories.
